

Agreement adds cost-effective, targeted in-building coverage solution to wireless infrastructure offerings
San Diego, HIMSS Conference, Booths 5507 and 7437 - February 13, 2006 –Johnson Controls, Inc. has signed an agreement with Spotwave Wireless, Inc., which expands the Johnson Controls portfolio of wireless infrastructure offerings with a cost-effective, targeted in-building coverage solution.
The SpotCell® in-building wireless systems broaden coverage and improve signal strength in specific areas of a facility. This allows individuals to use their cell phones, PDAs, 3G-enabled devices, and mobile enterprise applications wherever they are needed indoors, without concern over dropped calls or slow downloads. The SpotCell product line is modular and scaleable, covering areas from 25,000 to 100,000 square feet. The carrier-approved products addresses both cellular and PCS bands with one system, and the integrated solution can be deployed without extensive engineering services.
