Ottawa, Ontario – June 19, 2006 – Spotwave Wireless today announced the appointment of Michael Bordelon to the Spotwave Board of Directors. Mr. Bordelon is the former Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Mobile Devices business at Motorola, Inc., having spent more than 20 years at the global communications leader in a variety of senior management posts.
In his most recent position with Motorola Mr. Bordelon was responsible for the company’s global cellular handset design teams, and managed the design revamp of the device portfolio which included the enormously successful MOTORAZR phone. During his tenure, Bordelon served on the Boards of Directors for Lightsurf Corp, and BCI Corp on behalf of Motorola.
