Software allows remote monitoring of SpotCell's wireless adaptive repeaters, eliminating on-site visits
OTTAWA, Canada - October 22, 2003 - Spotwave Wireless Inc. , a wireless technology company solving the in-building reception problems common to users of wireless voice and data services, today introduced the SpotCell Viewer, Windows-based software that monitors product performance and allows for the remote control of SpotCell adaptive repeater deployments.
The SpotCell family of adaptive repeaters extends wireless coverage inside entire buildings or targeted spots within buildings. With SpotCell, wireless device users can get a proper signal despite common barriers such as walls and elevators. Providing a coverage solution of up to 100,000 square feet for both 800 MHz and 1900 MHz bands, SpotCell repeaters provide "always on" wireless coverage.
The new SpotCell Viewer eliminates the need for on-site visits and reduces the lifecycle costs of installations, thereby facilitating high-volume deployments.
